An apprenticeship allows you to earn a living while you learn your craft.
Apprentices are full-time employees (40-hours per week) that benefit from an earn-while-you-learn environment. The more skills they learn, the greater potential to earn.
Apprentices can usually expect to be paid 50 percent of a journeyman’s wages. Wages typically increase at regular intervals (every 6 months) as required skills increase.
At the successful completion of the term of apprenticeship, apprentices become journeymen (professional trade and craftsmen) and in turn earn full pay for their skills.
