The University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Technology-Crossett (UAM-CTC), is a public two-year post-secondary institution that provides academic and technical training, services, and resources for the residents of a six-county service area. On September 2, 1975, classes opened on campus at 1326 Highway 52 West in North Crossett. UAM-CTC is located on a 36-acre plot that is 4.5 miles northeast of Crossett and 9.5 miles southwest of Hamburg.

Application Process

Interested persons should contact the college to speak with the Counselor at 870-460-2024, or Vice Chancellor at 870-460-2001 or call toll free at 866-323-3384 and ask to speak with someone about apprenticeship training.

Apprenticeship information will be provided to all interested applicants including an application form and program information. Those seeking enrollment must complete an application form and submit it to the college to determine eligibility for entering the apprenticeship program.

UAM-CTC has an Electrical Apprenticeship program that is approved by and registered with the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training (BAT). The apprenticeship classes are open for enrollment anytime throughout the year as apprentices are employed. There is no cost for the program, other than a $50 book fee per year. Classes are available for first, second, third, and fourth year apprentices.
