About

The ASU-Heber Springs Electrical Apprenticeship program is a four-year program and is designed for those working in the electrical field and interested in obtaining the electrical journeyman’s license. This program was designed by a local electrical committee and approved by the Department of Career Education’s state apprenticeship offices.

The state of Arkansas requires that a person working in the electrical field must either have a journeyman or master electrician’s license or be enrolled in an approved electrical apprenticeship program and working towards that goal.

To qualify for the electrical apprenticeship program, students must be employed by a master or journeyman electrician and gaining 2000 on-the-job training hours per year.


Application Process
